Sony Xperia smartphones powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 receive Android 10 update few weeks back, but this update is not working 100 percent perfect. Dark mode is not attractive, there is no gesture navigations. So many users swithc back to previous Android Pie, which is working perfect. Today i will show you how to downgrade Xperia XZ2, Xperia XZ2 Compact, Xperia XZ2 Premium and Xperia XZ3 back to Android Pie.

How to downgrade Sony Xperia smartphones to Android Pie
a) download and install latest Flashtool
b1) download Android 9.0.0 for Sony XPERIA XZ2 H8216 (firmware 52.0.A.11.32)
b2) download Android 9.0.0 for Sony XPERIA XZ2 H8266 (firmware 52.0.A.11.32)
b3) download Android 9.0.0 for Sony XPERIA XZ2 Compact H8314 (firmware 52.0.A.11.32)
b4) download Android 9.0.0 for Sony XPERIA XZ2 Compact H8324 (firmware 52.0.A.11.32)
b5) download Android 9.0.0 for Sony XPERIA XZ2 Premium H166 (firmware 52.0.A.11.32)
b5) download Android 9.0.0 for Sony XPERIA XZ3 H9436 (firmware 52.0.A.11.32)
c) open the XPERIA Flashtool, click on flash and choose downloaded firmware, than click ok. Important – during downgrade you will lost all data. So it is better (and I recommend that) to do the backup of your personal data, than proceed with clean instalation and then restore only important data.
d) turn off your phone and when Flashtool shows pop up window, connect phone to PC with holding volume down button
e) after few minutes all is done and your phone gets Android Pie
